Episode 3 of The Rings of Power is almost here. The next installment in the hit Prime Video series is scheduled to be released today – that’s Thursday, September 8 for fans who live in the Pacific Time Zone (PT) of North America. For the rest of the world though, Episode 3 of Amazon’s Lord of the Rings TV show will officially arrive in Friday, September 9. Don’t ask us why, just roll with it.
Based on how the show’s second episode ended, it looks like we’ll finally head to Númenor, the island kingdom of men, in the third episode of The Rings of Power. The Númenóreans were provoked right at the end of the last entry, with Galadriel and Halbrand ready to be rescued from their small wooden raft by Isildur and his fellow Númenórean sailors. Expect the pair to be our eyes and ears as we explore Númenor in Episode 3.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. You’re here to find out when episode 3 of The Rings of Power will be released on Prime Video. Below, we’ll explain when the next installment of Amazon’s Lord of the Rings – read our spoiler-free review if you haven’t already – will be available to stream in your region of the world. Additionally, we’ll let you know when you can expect episodes 4-8 to hit the streaming service.

When will episode 3 of The Rings of Power arrive on Prime Video?
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Episode 3 will be released exclusively on Prime Video in Thursday, September 8 at 9pm PT.
That doesn’t mean viewers around the world will be able to stream it at 9pm local time. Instead, the third episode of The Rings of Power will be unlocked in your territory at the corresponding time of 9 pm PT. So, for example, North Americans living in Eastern Time Zone (ET) regions can tune in to Episode 3 on Friday, September 9 at 12:00 ET.

The Rings of Power’s two-season premiere — incidentally, it’s the biggest Prime Video series premiere of all time — was available to stream before episode 3. When it officially launched last week, episodes 1 and 2 of The Rings of Power were unlocked at 6pm PT / 9pm ET. The show’s third episode, however, will be released at a later time – so will the release time for each episode change from week to week?
Fortunately no. The remaining episodes of The Rings of Power will be released every Friday (or Thursday night, for those in the Pacific time zone) at the same time as Episode 3. So, for example, the fourth part of the series will be released. at 00:00 ET on Friday, September 16th, its fifth episode at 12:00 ET on Friday, September 23rd, and so on.
